Help raise money for cancer and rescue.

WishfulWelcome to the official website of the Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America, Inc. The FCRSA is the American Kennel Club's official national parent club for purebred Flat-Coated Retrievers. Whether you are looking for a Flat-Coated Retriever or already own one or more of this versatile breed, we have much information in store for you.

Find out more about the Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America, including how to become a member, our consitution and by-laws, code of ethics, our National Specialties and much more!

Are you curious about just what is a Flat-Coated Retriever? Discover more about the breed by reading our breed standard. Visit our Hall of Fame and find information about famous FCRs. Or check out the photo gallery and see pictures of the real thing!

We are concerned about health issues in our breed, especially cancer. This section explores the steps the FCRSA is taking to improve the health of our breed. An extensive online health manual looks at many topics of interest

The FCRSA has a strong rescue and referral program. If you are interested in a Flat-Coated Retriever, perhaps you'd like to adopt a rescue.

Finally, check out upcoming events such as our National Specialty and Supported Entries or browse the articles, links and books for more information about Flat-Coated Retrievers.

FCRSA and the UK team up for Flat-Coat Health!

UK Flat Coat Database now open to FCRSA Members!

The FCRSA has approved joining the UK Flat Coat database for a 5 year trial period. This membership includes all FCRSA members in good standing.

We are hoping to use this database as our health database in addition to the other cool functions that it has. We have transferred all our current health database information to this database.

There are more than 38,500 Flat-Coated Retrievers in this database from over 1,200 kennels (over 31,500 from the UK and the rest throughout the world).

PLEASE take this opportunity to enter or update information and let's use this opportunity to be honest with everyone. Being open with information will help keep our breed healthy and happy.

Once your annual dues are paid up, fill out the registration form and you'll be notified when you are enrolled. It may take some time as your membership needs to be verified first.

When our memberhip year starts, which is April 1, 2011.
